Deep Dalal, MD

Deep Dalal, MD, FACR, specializes in rheumatology, providing advanced and individualized care to patients of all ages. At his practice, BW Arthritis & Rheumatology, PA, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, he welcomes patients seeking treatment for the full scope of rheumatologic disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, psoriatic arthritis, and osteoporosis. He values each patient, taking the time to teach them about their disease so they're prepared to take an active role in managing their health care.
 
Dr. Dalal received his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Virginia, and then he went on to receive his medical training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He completed his internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC.
 
Dr. Dalal is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also holds active memberships in several professional organizations, including the Arthritis FoundationⓇ, the National Psoriasis FoundationⓇ, and the National Osteoporosis Foundation.
 
With a dedication to providing the highest quality of care for his patients, Dr. Dalal participated in additional training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, receiving the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification in Rheumatology™ - RhMSUS™. He actively incorporates this technology into his practice, using it to more accurately diagnose and treat patients.
